Has Someone You Love Died? Share with others who have been there... Why Join a Support Group? If you are newly bereaved, a group can give you hope. You will meet others who have had similar losses and survived. You can share insights and ideas. You will be with people who have lived through and understand what you're experiencing. If it has been awhile since your loss you might still remember the confusion and despair of those early months. Battle scars and all, you have survived and learned, and you can help the newly bereaved. Besides, there might still be things you want to discuss about your own loss. About a Bereavement Group Meetings begin with members introducing themselves. The needs of the group at each meeting determine what will be discussed -- for example, anger, guilt, or dealing with the holidays. A member of the group might ask for the group's insight on a particular issue. For Support Group Information in your Area Oswego, New York Area Binghamton New York Area All Other Areas
